Its products draw their power from the natural healing sources of Carlsbad, into which the local nature has put all its energy for thousands of years - in particular the Carlsbad thermo-mineral water, peat and kaolin. They also make up the main components for the individual cosmetics lines THERMAE, PEAT CARE and PURE KAOLIN. They are developed, using the beneficial effects of the local natural healing sources and many years of experience with balneotherapy. At the same time, we also considered the requirements of modern cosmetics – the products therefore contain many highly valuable and quality active ingredients and technologies. Doctors and dermatologists take part in the development of the cosmetics.

Although King and Emperor Charles IV founded Carlsbad already in the year 1350, news of the beneficial effects of the local thermo-mineral springs did not spread around the world until the 18th and 19th centuries. We developed CARL’s cosmetics products with care and respect for the famous local spa tradition. The used natural sources have been tested through many years of balneological experience. They are included in the products of our individual cosmetics lines. The THERMAE line contains thermo-mineral water, the PEAT CARE line uses the effects of peat extract and the PURE KAOLIN collection line the traditionally beneficial characteristics of kaolin.
